Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the City Palace in Jaipur, head south towards MI Road. Continue straight on MI Road until you reach the intersection with Sardar Patel Marg. Turn left onto Sardar Patel Marg and walk for about 2 km until you reach the Amer Fort entrance. From the entrance, you can either walk or take a local bus to Amer Fort. Once you reach Amer Fort, follow the signs to Chand Pol (Moon Gate), which is located at the back side of the fort.

Rickshaw
You can hire a rickshaw from any location in Jaipur. Just tell the driver 'Amer Fort' and they will take you there. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Amer Fort, follow the signs to Chand Pol (Moon Gate) at the back side of the fort.

Public Bus
Take a public bus from the Sindhi Camp Bus Stand in Jaipur heading towards Amer. The bus ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Get off at the Amer Fort bus stop. From there, walk towards the Amer Fort entrance and continue to Chand Pol (Moon Gate) located at the back side of the fort.
