Walking
If you are near the Jaisalmer Fort, start walking towards the main entrance of the Fort, which is known as the 'Sonar Quila' or Golden Fort. Once you enter the Fort, follow the winding streets and keep an eye out for the Manak Chowk. As you approach Manak Chowk, look for the Vyas Para area. The Royal Camel Safari is located inside the Fort, specifically in Vyas Para, near Amar Sagar Pol. It is advisable to ask locals for directions or look for signposts as you navigate through the narrow lanes of the Fort.
Rickshaw
You can hire a rickshaw from any prominent location in Jaisalmer, such as the main market area or near your hotel. Tell the driver to take you to 'Jaisalmer Fort' and specifically mention 'Vyas Para, Manak Chowk.' The rickshaw will drop you off at the entrance of the Fort. From there, you will need to walk inside and follow the paths leading to Vyas Para, where the Royal Camel Safari is located. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Jaisalmer. Start cycling towards Jaisalmer Fort. Once you reach the Fort, park your bicycle at a designated area outside the Fort entrance. Then, walk inside the Fort, following the signs or asking locals for directions to Manak Chowk. The Royal Camel Safari is situated in Vyas Para, which is accessible on foot from within the Fort.
