Walking
If you are staying in the city center of Jodhpur, start by heading towards the Clock Tower area. From the Clock Tower, walk west along the main road, which is called 'Nai Sarak'. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with 'High Court Road'. Turn left onto High Court Road and walk for about 500 meters until you see the entrance to Mehrangarh Fort on your right. You can enter the fort and explore it, as Jaswant Thada is located on the grounds of the fort. After visiting Mehrangarh, follow the signs to Jaswant Thada, which is about a 10-minute walk. It's a beautiful marble cenotaph located on a picturesque lake, and you can enjoy the scenic views on your way.
Auto-rickshaw
From anywhere in Jodhpur, you can take an auto-rickshaw to Jaswant Thada. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Jaswant Thada', and they will know the location. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand, or ask the driver to use the meter. They will drop you off at the entrance, and from there, it’s a short walk to the main monument.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Jodhpur. Start from the city center and head towards Nai Sarak, then follow the same route as walking. Riding a bicycle will allow you to enjoy the sights along the way, and it will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Jaswant Thada. Once you get to the Mehrangarh Fort area, you can lock your bicycle and walk to Jaswant Thada.
