Once you reach Pahalgam, continue towards Aru Valley, which is roughly 12 kilometers away from Pahalgam. The scenic route will provide stunning views of the surrounding mountains and rivers. After reaching Aru Valley, follow the signs to Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the sanctuary's entrance.

For those using public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from Srinagar to Pahalgam. The bus journey typically takes about 3-4 hours. From Pahalgam, you can hire a local taxi or take a shared vehicle to Aru Valley. This ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you reach Aru Valley, you can either walk to the Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary or hire a pony for a more convenient trip to the sanctuary entrance.
