Getting there

Walking

Start at the Kohima Municipal Office, which is a central landmark. From the office, head south on the main road (AH1) towards B.O.C. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Look for signs directing you to P.R. Hill. Keep walking until you reach the junction where you can see a sign for Sokhriezie Park. Turn left at this junction and follow the road for another 500 meters. The park entrance will be on your right.

Public Transport (Auto-Rickshaw)

Find an auto-rickshaw from any main point in Kohima, such as the Kohima Main Market. Tell the driver you want to go to Sokhriezie Park, located at B.O.C, P.R. Hill. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the park, which is easily identifiable.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop near Kohima Main Market. Start by heading south on AH1, and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. As you ride, enjoy the views of the local shops and scenery. When you reach the junction for P.R. Hill, take a left turn and continue for another 500 meters. The entrance to Sokhriezie Park will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
