From the center of Manali, head towards the Mall Road. Walk along the Mall Road until you reach the bus stand. Once at the bus stand, look for local buses or shared taxis heading towards Rohtang Pass. Take a bus or shared taxi to the Rahala Waterfalls stop, which is approximately 16 kilometers away. After getting off, follow the signs leading to the waterfall, which is a short trek from the highway. The path is well marked and will lead you through scenic views of the mountains.
Trekking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to hike, start from Manali and trek towards the Rahala Waterfalls. Begin your trek from the Old Manali area and follow the trail towards the highway. You will eventually reach the Leh-Manali Highway. From here, you can either continue walking towards the waterfalls or hitch a ride with passing vehicles. The trek offers stunning views of the landscape and takes approximately 3-4 hours depending on your pace.
