Getting There

• Walking

  From Old Manali, head towards Manu Temple Rd. Walk past the Manu Temple, which will be on your left. Continue walking straight on Manu Temple Rd for approximately 1.5 km. You will pass by several local shops and cafes. As you reach the end of the road, you will notice a trail leading towards Kharma Valley. Follow this trail, which will take you into the valley. The walk may take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Trekking

  If you are interested in a more adventurous route, you can take a trekking path from Old Manali. Head to the trekking office near the Old Manali market and inquire about guided treks to Kharma Valley. A guided trek usually costs around ₹500-₹1000 per person, depending on the duration and included services. The trek will provide you with a local guide who can share insights about the area while leading you through scenic trails.

• Local Transport (Shared Taxi to Manu Temple)

  You can take a shared taxi from Old Manali to Manu Temple, which costs around ₹50-₹100 per person. The shared taxi stand is located near the Old Manali market. Once you reach Manu Temple, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to reach Kharma Valley. The taxi ride will save you some walking time but expect to walk about 20-30 minutes from the temple to the valley.
