Walking
From Solang Valley, make your way towards the Solang Ropeway station. Follow the signs and pathways leading to the station, which is about a 15-20 minute walk depending on your starting point. Once you reach the ropeway station, purchase a ticket for a ride to the top of the hill. The ticket costs approximately ₹600 for a round trip. Enjoy the breathtaking views as you ascend. After disembarking, head towards the marked trails leading to Manal, which is about a 30-minute walk from the ropeway exit.
Hiking
For the more adventurous, you can hike directly to Manal from Solang Valley. Start your hike from the valley floor, heading towards the mountains. Follow the main trail that leads to Burwa and then to Manal. This hike will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Be sure to carry enough water and snacks as there are limited spots for refreshments along the way.
Local Bus
If you prefer public transport, you can take a local bus from Solang Valley to Burwa. Buses are available every hour and the fare is approximately ₹20. Once you arrive in Burwa, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Manal, which is about 1.5 kilometers away. Taxis from Burwa to Manal typically cost around ₹100.
