    Start at the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, located in the heart of Panaji. From the church, head northwest on Church Square towards the main road (Dr. R. P. Road). Turn left onto Dr. R. P. Road and continue straight. After about 500 meters, you will reach the Panaji Bus Stand. From the bus stand, you can take a local bus heading towards Old Goa. The bus will take you along the scenic Mandovi River. Alight at the 'Old Goa' stop. Once you get off, head south on Old Goa Road for approximately 1 kilometer. You’ll see the Basilica of Bom Jesus on your left. The entire journey should take around 40-50 minutes depending on walking speed and waiting time for the bus.

    From anywhere in Panaji, make your way to the Panaji Bus Stand. Look for buses heading towards Old Goa. Buses are frequent, so you should not have to wait long. The ride to Old Goa will take about 30 minutes. Once you alight at the Old Goa bus stop, walk south along Old Goa Road for about 1 kilometer. The Basilica of Bom Jesus will be on your left side. Ensure you check the bus schedule to plan your return journey as well.
