Shree Devdeveshwar Temple: A Spiritual Haven in Pune

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center, head towards MG Road. From MG Road, take the left onto Pune Station Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Karve Road. Turn right onto Karve Road and walk for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Parvati Hill. Follow the signs, and after about 1 kilometer, you will reach the base of Parvati Hill. From there, it's a steep but short hike to Shree Devdeveshwar Temple located at the top. The temple offers a stunning view of the city.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From your location in Pune, find a nearby bus stop and board a bus heading towards Parvati. You can use local transport apps to check for the best routes. Buses such as the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) frequently service this route. Get off at the Parvati bus stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the base of Parvati Hill where the temple is located. Follow the signs leading to the temple, and after a short hike, you will arrive at Shree Devdeveshwar Temple.

• Rickshaw

  To take a rickshaw, simply find a rickshaw stand or hail one on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Parvati Hill (Parvati Temple). The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the base of Parvati Hill. From there, you will need to hike up to the temple, which is a short but steep climb. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
