Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Puri, head towards Badasirei. Start from the Jagannath Temple, which is a well-known landmark in Puri. From the Jagannath Temple, take the Grand Road (Bada Danda) and continue straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to Badasirei. Follow the signs for Shree Sunara Gouranga Temple, which will be approximately 2 kilometers ahead on your left. There is parking available near the temple, but be prepared for a small parking fee of around ₹20.

• Auto-rickshaw

  For a more local experience, you can hire an auto-rickshaw from any point in Puri. Simply tell the driver 'Badasirei' or 'Shree Sunara Gouranga Temple'. The fare should be around ₹50 to ₹100, depending on your starting point. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Ensure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.

• Public Bus

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from the Puri bus stand. Look for buses heading towards Badasirei. The fare is very economical, typically around ₹10-₹20. Once you arrive at Badasirei, the temple is about a 10-minute walk. Just ask locals for directions if you're unsure – they are generally helpful.

  If you are staying close to Badasirei, walking to Shree Sunara Gouranga Temple can be a pleasant option. The temple is located in a relatively quiet area, and the walk can take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace. Just head towards Badasirei from your accommodation, and you will see signs directing you to the temple.
