If you are near the City Palace, you can take a rickshaw directly to Fateh Sagar Lake. Just ask the driver to go to Nehru Garden. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you reach, you will see the entrance to the garden which is situated along the lakeside.

If you are staying at a hotel near the Lake Pichola, you can walk to Fateh Sagar Lake. Head towards the main road and walk west until you reach the intersection with Mewar Motor Link Rd. Turn left on Mewar Motor Link Rd and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Nehru Garden on your right as you approach the lake.
