From Govindghat, you cannot drive directly to Ghangaria as the road is not accessible by car. Park your vehicle in one of the designated parking areas in Govindghat. There are several parking facilities available, and the cost is typically around ₹50-₹100 per day. From Govindghat, you will need to trek approximately 13 kilometers along a well-marked trail to reach Ghangaria. The trek can take around 6-7 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the journey.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Ghangaria using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Haridwar or Rishikesh to Govindghat. The bus fare is approximately ₹300-₹500 depending on the service you choose. Once you arrive at Govindghat, you will follow the same procedure as with a car: park your vehicle if you arrive by taxi, and begin the trek to Ghangaria. Remember to check the bus schedules in advance, as services may be limited, especially during off-peak seasons.
