To get to the Chicago Pedway from Gary, Indiana, start by taking the South Shore Line train from the Gary Metro Center station towards Chicago Millennium Station. The train ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Millennium Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the Pedway entrance located within the station. The Chicago Pedway is a network of underground tunnels and overhead bridges that connect various buildings in the downtown area.

Another option is to take the Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) bus service. Board the Route 10 bus from any local stop in Gary heading towards the South Shore Line train station at the Gary Metro Center. Once at the Metro Center, you can catch the South Shore Line train to Chicago. After arriving at Millennium Station in Chicago, follow the signs to the Pedway entrance.

If you prefer a more scenic route and are staying in the downtown area of Gary, you can walk to the Gary Metro Center. From downtown Gary, head south on Broadway Ave until you reach 4th Ave, then turn left. Continue walking until you reach the Metro Center. From there, take the South Shore Line train to Millennium Station in Chicago. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Pedway entrance.
