Public Transit - Bus
From downtown Gary, walk to the nearest bus stop at 5th Ave & Broadway. Take the Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) Route 10 bus towards the South Shore Line. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the South Shore Line Station. Transfer to the South Shore Line train towards Chicago. After approximately 45 minutes, disembark at the Millennium Station. From there, it's a short walk to City Hall, located at 121 N La Salle St. Head north on Michigan Ave, then turn left onto E Washington St, continuing until you reach N La Salle St. Turn right, and City Hall will be on your right.

From Gary, make your way to the South Shore Line train station located at 5th Ave & Broadway. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Chicago. The train ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Millennium Station, exit the station and walk north on Michigan Ave. Turn left onto E Washington St and continue to N La Salle St. Turn right on N La Salle St, and City Hall will be located at 121 N La Salle St on your right.
