Public Bus

Start from Ubud, which is a central hub in Bali. Head to the Ubud Bus Station and look for the public bus service heading towards Gianyar. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Gianyar, get off at the Gianyar bus terminal. From there, look for a local bemo (minibus) heading to Tegallalang. Inform the driver you want to go to Taro. The bemo ride will take another 20-30 minutes. Once you reach Taro, ask to be dropped off at Kantor Bumdes, Jl. Raya Taro, which is the main office of Desa Wisata Taro.
Bicycle Rental

If you're staying in Ubud, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle northwest along Jalan Raya Ubud and continue on Jalan Raya Taro.
