Getting There

• Public Bus

  From central Bandung, head to the Leuwi Panjang bus terminal. You can take angkot (minibus) routes that go to Leuwi Panjang, such as the Dago - Leuwi Panjang route. Once at the terminal, look for buses heading to 'Rancabali' or 'Ciwidey'. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at Patengan, a well-known stop, which is near Nature Reserve Patengan.

• Angkot (Minibus)

  After reaching the Leuwi Panjang bus terminal, you can take an angkot heading towards Ciwidey. Look for the angkot with a green color, which typically goes to Ciwidey. The angkot will drop you off at a junction or near the entrance to Nature Reserve Patengan. Make sure to tell the driver your destination so they can assist you in getting off at the correct stop.

• Motorcycle Taxi (Ojek)

  If you're already in Rancabali or nearby, you can use a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to get to Nature Reserve Patengan. You can book an ojek via ride-hailing apps like Gojek or Grab. Simply input 'Nature Reserve Patengan' as your destination. The ojek will take you directly to the entrance of the reserve, which is approximately a 15-minute ride from Rancabali.

• Walking

  If you are staying within walking distance of the reserve, you can navigate your way through the area by following local signs pointing towards Patengan. Ensure you have a mobile map application on your phone to guide you, as the paths can be quite narrow and local signage may not always be available.
