Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the city center of Bandung, head to the Leuwi Panjang Bus Terminal. You can take an angkot (minibus) or a taxi to reach the terminal. Once at Leuwi Panjang, board a bus heading to Ciwidey. The bus ride will take approximately 2 hours. Ask the bus conductor to let you know when to get off at Ciwidey, the town closest to White Crater.

  • Angkot

    Once you arrive in Ciwidey, look for angkot number 11 or 12 which will take you towards White Crater. The angkot will drop you off at the entrance of White Crater. The angkot ride will take around 30 minutes and costs a small fare. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they are going to the White Crater.

  • Walking

    After getting off the angkot at the entrance of White Crater, you will have to walk for about 1 kilometer to reach the crater itself. Follow the paved path that leads into the park area, passing through beautiful greenery and occasional viewpoints. The path is well-marked, and you will eventually see signs directing you to the crater.
