If you are driving from Borobudur town, start by heading northwest on Jl. Borobudur. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Borobudur Temple complex. Once there, follow the signs towards the parking area for visitors. After parking, walk towards the main entrance of Borobudur Temple. From the entrance, you'll need to exit the temple complex and follow the road that leads uphill towards Dagi Hill. This will be approximately a 15-minute walk uphill, and it's advisable to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.

From Borobudur, you can take a local angkot (minibus) towards Magelang. Board the angkot from the main road near Borobudur Temple. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Borobudur area. The fare is typically around IDR 5,000. Once you get off, walk towards the entrance of the Borobudur Temple complex. After visiting the temple, you can walk uphill towards Dagi Hill.
