Getting There

  • Car

    From Borobudur Temple, head southeast on Jl. Badrawati towards Jl. Pete. Continue on Jl. Badrawati for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the T-junction. Turn left onto Jl. Pete and drive for another 1.5 km. You will find Sinar Hill on your right at Jl. Pete Dusun Pete, Sawah, Majaksingi, Kec. Borobudur. Parking is available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    Catch a local minibus or 'angkot' from Borobudur to Magelang. You can find these near the Borobudur Temple entrance. The fare is around IDR 10,000 ($0.70). Ask the driver to drop you at the 'Pete' stop. From there, it is a 15-minute walk (about 1 km) to Sinar Hill. Head northeast on Jl. Pete and follow the road until you reach your destination. Look out for signs as you approach.

    If you prefer to walk from the Borobudur area, it will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Starting from Borobudur Temple, walk down Jl. Badrawati towards Jl. Pete. Once you reach the T-junction, turn left onto Jl. Pete. Continue walking for about 1.5 km until you see Sinar Hill on your right. This route is scenic and allows you to enjoy the local surroundings.
