From Borobudur Temple, head southeast on Jl. Badrawati towards Jl. Raya Borobudur. Continue straight for approximately 4 km until you reach the intersection with Jl. Giritengah. Turn left onto Jl. Giritengah and follow the road for about 3 km. You will see signs for Punthuk Mongkrong. There is a parking area available near the entrance, which may incur a small fee.

Take a local minibus (angkot) from Borobudur towards Magelang and tell the driver you want to go to Punthuk Mongkrong. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the designated stop near Jl. Giritengah. From there, you can either walk or hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to reach the entrance of Punthuk Mongkrong, which is about 1 km away. Expect to pay a small fee for the motorcycle taxi.

If you are already near Jl. Giritengah and prefer walking, from the main road, head towards the direction of the hills. Follow the path that leads to Punthuk Mongkrong.
