Getting There

• Bicycle or Walking

  If you are already on Gili Trawangan, you can rent a bicycle or walk to the nearest port to catch a boat to Gili Meno or Gili Air. The ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately IDR 15,000 to IDR 25,000 per person. Once you arrive at Gili Meno or Gili Air, you can hire a local horse cart (cidomo) to take you toward the direction of Gili Indah. Make sure to tell the driver your destination is 'Betwixt 2 Schwings' and confirm the fare beforehand, usually around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000.

• Boat Transfer

  From Gili Trawangan, take a fast boat to Bangsal Harbor on Lombok Island. This journey lasts about 30 minutes and costs between IDR 85,000 to IDR 100,000. Once you arrive at Bangsal Harbor, you can hire a private car or take a public minibus to Pemenang. The car ride takes about 40 minutes and costs around IDR 300,000, while the minibus is more budget-friendly at around IDR 50,000 per person but may take longer due to multiple stops.

• Public Transport from Bangsal to Gili Indah

  After reaching Pemenang, you can take a local bemo (minibus) or a private taxi to Gili Indah. Make sure to inform the driver you need to go to 'J3VG+32X, Gili Indah' which is the location for 'Betwixt 2 Schwings'. The journey typically takes 20-30 minutes and costs about IDR 40,000 to IDR 70,000 depending on the mode of transport. If using a bemo, be prepared for shared seating with other passengers.

• Motorbike Rental

  For the more adventurous traveler, renting a motorbike is a popular option. At Bangsal Harbor, you can rent a motorbike for around IDR 75,000 to IDR 100,000 per day. Follow the main road towards Pemenang and look for signs directing you to Gili Indah. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Be sure to wear a helmet and have an international driving permit.
