Discovering Turtle Heaven: A Natural Paradise

Bicycle

If you are staying on Gili Trawangan, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops along the main road. Once you have your bike, head towards the east coast of the island and follow the signs toward the harbor. Continue riding north until you reach the ferry terminal where you can catch a boat to Gili Meno. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around IDR 100,000. Upon arrival at Gili Meno, you can bike to Turtle Heaven, located on the northern part of the island, which is about a 10-minute ride. Follow the signs toward Jl. Gili Meno, where you'll find Turtle Heaven.

Walking

If you are on Gili Meno, Turtle Heaven is easily accessible by foot. Start from the main beach area and walk north along the beach path. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Just follow the beach until you reach the northern tip of the island where Turtle Heaven is located. Make sure to keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Turtle Heaven.

Horse Cart (Cidomo)

On Gili Meno, a traditional horse cart (locally known as Cidomo) is a great way to travel. You can find horse carts near the main beach area. Negotiate the fare with the driver, which typically costs around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000. Ask to be taken to Turtle Heaven, and the driver will take you directly to the location.

Boat from Gili Trawangan

If you are on Gili Trawangan and prefer a quicker route, take a private boat to Gili Meno. You can arrange for a boat through local operators at the harbor. This option usually costs around IDR 300,000 to IDR 500,000 depending on the group size and negotiation. Once you arrive at Gili Meno, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Turtle Heaven.
