If you are near the Bundaran HI (Hotel Indonesia Roundabout), which is a central hub in Jakarta, you can easily walk to the Selamat Datang Monument. Head east on Jl. Jend. Sudirman towards Jl. Kebon Melati. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Jl. Kebon Melati. Turn left onto Jl. Kebon Melati and walk straight for about 300 meters. The monument will be on your right, situated in the middle of a roundabout.

You can take the TransJakarta bus system to get closer to the Selamat Datang Monument. Board a bus heading towards the Bundaran HI stop, which is directly adjacent to the monument. Make sure to take a bus from a nearby corridor that connects to Corridor 1.
