Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are in North Jakarta, you can take a TransJakarta bus route to Kota Tua. Look for the nearest TransJakarta bus stop and board the bus heading towards the Blok M or Harmoni route. Make sure to get off at the 'Kota Tua' stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Wayang Museum. Head west on Jalan Kali Besar Timur, then turn left onto Jalan Pintu Besar Utara. The museum will be on your right at number 27.

  You can also use a local minibus service known as angkot. Look for the angkot labeled 'D' or 'C' that operates in the direction of Kota Tua. Ride the angkot until you reach the 'Kota Tua' stop. Once you alight, walk toward Jalan Pintu Besar Utara and follow the road until you reach Wayang Museum at No. 27.

  If you are already in the vicinity of Kota Tua, you can easily walk to the Wayang Museum. Just navigate to Jalan Pintu Besar Utara, and the museum is located at No. 27. It should take around 5-15 minutes depending on your starting point.

  Alternatively, you can use ride-hailing apps like Gojek or Grab, which are popular in Jakarta.
