Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Labuan Bajo, take the main road heading east towards the Komodo National Park entrance. Follow the signs for 'Komodo' and 'Rinca Island' for about 2 hours (approximately 30 km). Once you reach the entrance of Komodo National Park, pay the entry fee (around IDR 150,000 for adults) and continue onto the dirt road towards Golo Mori. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Jl. Jendral Urip Sumoharjo in Golo Mori, where Morinara Hill is located.

  • Public Transportation

    From Labuan Bajo, you can take a public minivan (angkot) to Golo Mori. Look for a minivan heading to 'Komodo' or 'Rinca Island'. The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to negotiate the fare, which should be around IDR 50,000 to 70,000 per person. Once you arrive at Golo Mori, you can either walk or hire a local guide to take you to Morinara Hill, which is a short trek from the main road.

    If you're in the park and prefer a boat trip, you can arrange for a local boatman to take you from your current location to Golo Mori.
