If you are staying in Manado, rent a car and drive to the harbor. Head north on Jl. Raya Manado-Bitung for about 30 minutes until you reach the Manado harbor. You will need to park your car here and take a boat to Bunaken Island. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes and typically costs around IDR 75,000 to 100,000 per person.
Public Transportation
From Manado city center, take a public minibus (Angkot) or taxi to the Manado Marina (Pelabuhan Manado). The fare for the Angkot is approximately IDR 20,000. Once at the marina, purchase a ticket for a boat to Bunaken Island, which costs around IDR 75,000 to 100,000. The boat ride will take about 30 minutes.
Boat Transfer
Once you've arrived at Bunaken Island, you may need to arrange a local boat transfer to Batu Meja. This can usually be arranged through your accommodation or local tour operators. The cost may vary but expect to pay around IDR 150,000 to 300,000 for a private boat, depending on your negotiation and group size. The ride to Batu Meja should take about 15-20 minutes.
Walking
