Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Bandung, head southeast on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta toward Jalan Sukajadi. Continue on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta and merge onto Jalan Raya Soreang - Pameungpeuk. Follow this road for approximately 20 km. When you reach the intersection with Jalan Cileunyi-Cileunyi, turn left onto Jalan Raya Soreang - Pameungpeuk and continue for another 15 km. You will reach a fork in the road; take the right fork onto Jalan Sugihmukti. Continue straight for about 10 km until you see the entrance to the White Crater (Kawah Putih). There is a parking area where you can leave your car. Note that there is an entrance fee of around IDR 20,000 per person and an additional parking fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach White Crater by public transport, start at Bandung's Leuwi Panjang Bus Terminal. Look for a bus that goes to Ciwidey. The bus ride takes about 2 hours and costs approximately IDR 30,000. Once you arrive at Ciwidey, you can take a local angkot (minibus) heading towards Kawah Putih. This ride will take around 30-45 minutes and costs about IDR 15,000. The angkot will drop you off at the entrance of White Crater. Remember to prepare some cash for the entrance fee of IDR 20,000.

• Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

  For a more convenient option, consider using a taxi or a ride-hailing service like Gojek or Grab. Simply set your destination to Kawah Putih, and the driver will take you directly to the entrance. The fare may vary depending on your starting point in Bandung but expect to pay around IDR 250,000 to IDR 400,000 for a one-way trip. Ensure to confirm the driver's understanding of your destination, and check if they are aware of the entrance fee (IDR 20,000) that you will need to pay upon arrival.
