Start at the Trans Jogja bus station, which is located in the city center. Take Bus number 1A (or 1B) towards the terminal at Jombor. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Jombor Terminal. From there, you can catch a local minibus (angkot) heading to Kalasan. Take an angkot that displays 'Kalasan' on its sign. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Kalasan, ask the driver to drop you off at Kedulan Temple, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main road.

From the city center of Yogyakarta, rent a bicycle from one of the many shops available. Head north towards Jalan Kaliurang.
