Public Bus
From Yogyakarta city center, head to the Jombor Bus Terminal. You can take a local bus or a taxi to the terminal if you're not walking. Once at Jombor Bus Terminal, look for buses heading to Boyolali. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. When you arrive at Boyolali, get off at the main bus station (Terminal Boyolali). From there, you can take a local minibus (angkot) to Selo. The angkot will take you towards the Selo area, and you should inform the driver that you need to get to Merapi Volcano Observatory. The observatory is approximately a 15-minute walk from the drop-off point in Selo.

Motorbike Taxi (Ojek)
Upon reaching Boyolali, you can also use a motorbike taxi (ojek) to reach Merapi Volcano Observatory directly. Once you arrive at Terminal Boyolali, ask for an ojek to take you to the observatory. Bicycle Rental
