Walking
From the center of Newton, head east on 1st Avenue E towards E 1st Street N. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 4th Street N. Turn right onto E 4th Street N, and after a short walk, turn left onto N 2nd Avenue E. Follow this road for about 0.3 miles. You will pass several local shops and parks along the way. After reaching the intersection with E 5th Street N, turn right. Continue walking for another 0.4 miles, and you will find yourself at the Newton Depot, where you can catch a bus or shuttle to Boston.

To get to Boston Theater District, start at the Newton Transit Center located at 400 E 4th St N. Take the local bus route #1 that goes towards Des Moines. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Des Moines bus terminal. From there, transfer to a Greyhound bus heading to Boston. The travel time from Des Moines to Boston is around 5-6 hours, so be prepared for a long journey.
