    From the Iowa State Capitol, walk west on E Locust Street for approximately two blocks. The State Historical Building will be on your left. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes.

    From I-235, take the E 6th Street exit and head south. Turn left onto E Locust Street. The State Historical Building will be on your right.
