Getting There

From the center of Dohuk, begin at Shahran Square. Head south on the main road, known as 40th Street. Proceed until the intersection with 60th Street. Turn left onto 60th Street and walk for about 1 kilometer. Look for signs indicating the direction to Zawa Mountain. Continue straight until you reach the foot of Zawa Mountain, where a pathway leads up the mountain. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transportation

From Dohuk's center (Shahran Square), take a minibus heading towards Zawa Mountain. Look for minibuses displaying 'Zawa' or 'Zawita'. The fare is typically affordable. Inform the driver you want to go to Zawa Mountain. The bus will drop you near the mountain's base. From there, follow signs to the summit. The minibus fare is approximately 1,000 IQD.
Taxi

Hire a taxi from Duhok city for a direct route to Zawa Mountain. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Negotiate the fare before starting; it should cost between 10,000 to 15,000 IQD. The taxi will drop you off at the base of the mountain.
