If you are near the Imam Hussein Shrine, exit the shrine area and head southeast towards Al-Qasim Street. Walk along Al-Qasim Street for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Al-Hussein Street. Turn left onto Al-Hussein Street and continue walking for another 500 meters. You will then turn right onto a smaller street that leads directly to حديقة الاسكان. The park is located at H2QF+G2X, just a short walk from the main road.

From the Imam Hussein Shrine, walk to the nearest bus stop on Al-Qasim Street. Look for a bus heading towards 'حديقة الاسكان' or 'Al-Hussein Park'. The fare is typically very low, around 200-500 IQD.
