From Kilrush Town Centre, head southwest on Francis Street and follow the R473 road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Clahane Shore Area. This walk takes about 30-40 minutes and offers views of the surrounding landscape. No cost involved.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Ennis to Kilrush. The bus service is operated by Bus Éireann, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once in Kilrush, take a local taxi to reach Clahane Shore Area. The taxi ride should take around 10 minutes and will cost approximately €10-€15. Bus Eireann single city fares in Cork, Galway, Limerick, and Waterford are €1.50 for adults when using a TFI Leap Card. Without a TFI Leap Card, a short fare cash ticket is €2.00.
