If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto the N11 from your current location in County Wexford. Follow the N11 until you reach the exit for the R741 towards Rosslare. Continue on the R741 and follow the signs for Rosslare Strand. Carne Beach is located just a few minutes' drive from Rosslare Strand. Once you reach Rosslare Strand, take the Beach Road and follow it until you see signs for Carne Beach. There is limited parking available near the beach.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Wexford town to Rosslare. Bus Eireann operates services that connect Wexford to Rosslare Strand. Once you arrive at Rosslare Strand, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to Carne Beach. The taxi ride should cost around €10. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
Walking
If you prefer to walk to Carne Beach from Rosslare Strand, exit the bus and head onto Beach Road. Follow Beach Road, which will lead you directly to Carne Beach. The walk is approximately 2.5 kilometers and should take around 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.
