From the center of Dingle, head southwest on Green Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the R559 road. Turn right onto R559 and follow it for about 3 kilometers. You will pass by beautiful coastal views along the way. Keep an eye out for signposts that indicate 'Dunquin' or 'Cé Dhún Chaoin'. Once you reach the village of Dunquin, follow the signs to Dunquin Pier. The pier is located at the bottom of a steep hill. Be prepared for a short but steep walk down to the pier where you can enjoy the stunning scenery.

If you are renting a bicycle in Dingle, start from the town center and take Green Street towards R559. Cycle southwest on R559 for approximately 3 kilometers. The route is mostly flat with some gentle inclines. Keep to the left side of the road for safety. As you approach the village of Dunquin, look for signs directing you to Dunquin Pier. There is a bike rack available at the pier where you can securely park your bicycle before heading down the hill to the pier itself.
