Walking
From the center of Dingle town, head west on Green Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the R559 road, which leads out of town. Follow the R559 for about 3.5 kilometers until you see a sign for Coumeenoole Beach. Turn right onto a smaller road, and after about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at the beach entrance.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle rental in Dingle, start from the main square and head northwest on Green Street. Follow the same route as walking, taking the R559 road out of Dingle. Keep cycling straight for about 3.5 kilometers, then turn right at the sign for Coumeenoole Beach. The beach entrance is about 1 kilometer further down this road.
Taxi
For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi from Dingle town center. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Coumeenoole Beach. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off at the beach entrance.
Bus
Check the local bus schedule as there may be seasonal services that run from Dingle to nearby attractions. If available, catch a bus towards the Slea Head Drive. Inform the driver you want to get off at the nearest stop to Coumeenoole Beach. From there, it’s a short walk downhill to the beach.
