Walking
From the center of Dingle, head east on Green Street towards the Dingle Bay. Continue straight onto Strand Street, which will lead you out of Dingle. You will pass by the Dingle Marina on your left. Keep walking along the main road (R559) for about 30 minutes until you reach the junction with the N86. Turn right onto the N86, where you will see signs for Killarney. Continue on this road, and after approximately 20 minutes, you will begin to see signs for the Gap of Dunloe. Follow these signs, and you will arrive at Kate Kearney's Cottage, which is located at the entrance of the Gap of Dunloe.
Public Transport
From Dingle, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Dingle Bus Station. Take the Bus Eireann Route 275 towards Killarney. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Killarney, disembark at the Killarney Bus Station. From there, you can either take a local taxi or check for local shuttle services that go directly to the Gap of Dunloe. Inform the driver to drop you off at Kate Kearney's Cottage, which is located at the entrance of the Gap.
