Walking
If you are in the center of Drogheda, start at the Drogheda Bus Station. Exit the station and head southeast on the Dublin Road (N51). Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Millmount Avenue. Take a right onto Millmount Avenue and follow it for approximately 300 meters. You will see the Millmount Museum on your left, located on Millmount Hill, which is a prominent feature in the area. The entrance is well marked and you can enjoy the views from the hilltop.
Walking
From the Drogheda Town Centre, walk towards the main shopping street, West Street. Head north along West Street until you reach the junction with the N51. Cross the road and continue straight onto the Millmount Avenue. Proceed along Millmount Avenue for about 300 meters until you arrive at Millmount Museum, located on your left. Look for the distinctive hill which houses the museum.
Public Transport
If you are near the Drogheda train station, you can take a local bus towards the town center. Board any bus that heads towards the Drogheda Bus Station. Once you arrive at the bus station, follow the walking directions above to Millmount Museum. Alternatively, you could walk from the train station directly to the museum by heading southeast on the Dublin Road (N51) and following the previously described walking route.
