    From the center of Drogheda, head south on West Street towards the River Boyne. Continue straight until you reach the bridge, crossing over the River Boyne. Once you are over the bridge, keep walking straight to reach the main bus station, which is located in the town center. From there, you can catch a bus to Dublin. Take the bus number 100 or 101 towards Dublin City. The journey to Dublin takes approximately 40-60 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Dublin, get off at the nearest stop to St. Patrick's Cathedral, which is located at Clanbrassil Street. From there, walk east towards St Patrick's Close, where the cathedral is located. Follow the signs for St. Patrick's Cathedral; it should take about 10 minutes on foot.

    Bus

    Make your way to the Drogheda Bus Station located in the town center. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Dublin. Buses such as the 100 or 101 operate frequently throughout the day. The journey typically takes around 40-60 minutes. Once you arrive in Dublin, disembark at Clanbrassil Street. From there, head east on Clanbrassil Street and take a right onto St. Patrick's Close. The cathedral will be on your left. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance for the latest times.

    Train

    Head to Drogheda Train Station, which is located to the southeast of the town center. You can walk there from the town center by heading southeast on West Street, then turning right onto the railway station access road. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Dublin Connolly Station. The train journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at Dublin Connolly Station, exit the station and take the Luas tram (Red Line) towards The Point. Get off at the next stop, Abbey Street. From Abbey Street, walk south towards O'Connell Bridge, cross the bridge and continue onto Clanbrassil Street. St. Patrick's Cathedral is located a short walk from there at St Patrick's Close, which will be on your left.
