Getting There

• Bus

  From Drogheda Town Centre, head to the bus station located on Shop Street. Take the Bus Eireann service 100 or 101 towards Dublin. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Busaras (the central bus station in Dublin), walk to the nearby Luas Red Line tram stop at Abbey Street. Take the tram towards Tallaght and get off at the Temple Bar stop. From there, it’s a short walk to 45 Temple Bar.

  Make your way to Drogheda Train Station, which is located on the southern side of the River Boyne. Board a train heading to Dublin Connolly Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Connolly Station, exit and head to the Luas Red Line tram stop at Abbey Street. Take the tram towards Tallaght and get off at the Temple Bar stop. It’s a brief walk to 45 Temple Bar from there.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Drogheda. Simply find a taxi rank in the town centre or call for one.   If you are feeling adventurous and have a full day, consider walking to Dublin! From Drogheda, it's about 56 km to Temple Bar. You can take the scenic route along the River Boyne and follow the R132 towards Dublin. This will take you several hours, so plan accordingly and ensure you have refreshments and a good map!
