If you are starting from Drogheda town center, head south towards West Street. Walk along West Street until you reach the junction with the N51. Turn left onto the N51, also known as the Dublin Road. Continue walking along the road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign that says 'Ballsgrove'. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rathmullan Road. Ballsgrove Gate is about 500 meters down this road on your right. Look for the historical landmark sign.
Bus
From Drogheda town center, find the nearest bus stop on the N51 (Dublin Road). You can take the Bus Eireann Route 100 or any local bus that heads towards the Ballsgrove area. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Ballsgrove stop. Once you get off the bus, walk down Rathmullan Road for about 200 meters, and you will see Ballsgrove Gate on your left. This route is convenient and allows you to enjoy the local scenery.

If you prefer a more direct approach, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Drogheda. Simply provide the driver with the address: 'Rathmullan Road, Ballsgrove, Drogheda, Co. Louth'.
