Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Eyre Square, head northwest towards the intersection with Shop Street. Continue on Shop Street until you reach the junction with Quay Street. Turn left onto Quay Street and follow it until you reach the end. At the T-junction, take a right onto Dominick Street Lower. Carroll's Bar will be on your left at number 39.

• Bus

  From the Galway Bus Station, take Bus Route 401 towards Salthill. Get off at the stop for 'Dominick Street.' From the bus stop, walk back towards the corner of Dominick Street and take a left. Carroll's Bar will be located at 39 Dominick St Lower, just a short walk down the street.

• Taxi

  If you prefer to take a taxi, you can easily find one at various taxi ranks throughout the city. Simply ask the driver to take you to '39 Dominick Street Lower.' The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bicycle, head towards the River Corrib and follow the cycle path along the riverbank towards the city center. Once you reach the bridge at O'Brien's Bridge, cross over and continue straight. When you reach the intersection with Dominick Street Lower, turn left. Carroll's Bar will be on your left at number 39.
