Getting There

    If you are starting from Eyre Square, exit the square and head towards the Shop Street, which is directly south. Walk straight down Shop Street until you reach the crossroads with Quay Street. Turn left onto Quay Street and follow the street until you reach the Spanish Arch. From there, continue along the riverfront on your left, which transforms into the River Corrib path. After roughly 10 minutes of walking, you will see the impressive Galway Cathedral on your right, located on Gaol Road.
