Walking
If you're starting from the city center, head towards Eyre Square and exit onto Shop Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Quay Street. Turn left onto Quay Street and walk until you reach the Spanish Arch. From there, follow the river along the Long Walk. Continue along the river until you see the Salmon Weir Bridge on University Road. The bridge is easily visible from the riverside path.

From Eyre Square, you can catch a bus heading towards the University. Look for Bus numbers 401, 404, or 407. Get off at the 'University' stop. Once you get off, walk towards University Road, and you will find the Salmon Weir Bridge a short walk away. Just follow the signs, and you'll see it soon.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in the city center. Head towards the Claddagh area along the river path. Once you reach the Quay, continue cycling along the river until you reach University Road. The Salmon Weir Bridge will be located right along this road, easily accessible from the bike path.
