If you're starting from Eyre Square, head west towards Forster Street. Continue straight onto the Quay Street, where you'll find a vibrant atmosphere. Keep walking until you reach the Spanish Arch. From there, follow the coastline along the Claddagh, and you will eventually find yourself at the Salthill Promenade. The beach is directly accessible from the promenade, and the walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

To reach Salthill from the city center, you can take Bus Route 404 or 409 at Eyre Square Bus Station. Board the bus heading towards Salthill. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes, and you should disembark at the Salthill stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the beach. Follow the signs to the promenade, and you'll soon find the sandy shores.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in the city center. Head towards the Promenade along the coastal route. Begin at Quay Street, then follow the cycle paths along the River Corrib, leading you to the Salthill area. It should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
