If you're starting from Eyre Square, exit the square onto Shop Street. Walk straight along Shop Street until you reach the intersection with Quay Street. Turn right onto Quay Street and continue walking down until you see the River Corrib. At the river, turn left onto the path along the riverbank. Follow the river path until you reach the Spanish Arch, which is located at 2 The Long Walk, just past the intersection of the river and the road.

From the Galway Cathedral, exit the cathedral grounds and head south towards the river. Cross the Salmon Weir bridge and turn left onto the riverbank path. Follow the path along the River Corrib until you reach the Spanish Arch at 2 The Long Walk. It is a short and scenic walk along the river.

If you're coming from the Spanish Arch area, you can start at the Claddagh. Walk along the path beside the river towards the city center. Continue straight along the river until you see the Spanish Arch on your right side before reaching the Long Walk.
