If you are starting from the Galway City Museum, head southwest along the Quay Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the bustling Shop Street. Turn left onto Shop Street and keep walking until you arrive at Eyre Square, which will be on your left. The Browne Doorway is located at the northern corner of Eyre Square.

If you are near the Galway Coach Station, you can take any bus that heads towards the city center. Look for routes that stop at Eyre Square, such as Bus 401 or Bus 424. Once you get off at Eyre Square, you will find The Browne Doorway at the north end of the square.

From the Spanish Arch, walk east along the river until you reach the intersection with Quay Street. Turn right onto Quay Street and follow it until you arrive at Shop Street. Turn left onto Shop Street, and Eyre Square will be just a short walk ahead on your left. The Browne Doorway is located at the northern side of Eyre Square.
