Car

If you are driving from Killarney town, head southwest on the N71 road towards Kenmare. Continue on the N71 for about 10 km. When you reach the junction with the R569, take a left turn. Follow the R569 for approximately 3 km until you see a sign for Riverowenreagh. The location is just off the R569, and you can park nearby.

Public Transportation

To reach Riverowenreagh using public transportation, take a bus from Killarney to Kenmare. Buses run regularly, and you can check the schedule for the latest timings. Once you arrive in Kenmare, you can either walk or take a taxi to Riverowenreagh, which is about 5 km away. Make sure to check local taxi services in advance as they may not always be readily available.

Walking

If you're already in the vicinity of Killarney National Park, you can hike to Riverowenreagh. Starting from the Park's visitor center, follow the marked trails towards the R569 road. Once you reach the R569, turn left and walk along the road for about 3 km. Keep an eye out for the sign for Riverowenreagh.
